This 15cm wood-on-wood wall sculpture explores the hidden beauty of the microbiological world. 

Inspired by Serratia bacteria and the striking red pigment it produces called prodigiosin.

The piece features intricate dot work painted over Musou Black, the world’s blackest paint, to create striking depth and contrast. 

The patterns and dot details shift subtly under different lighting conditions, including UV light, revealing new layers and dimensions as the environment changes.
